The energetic body is the most intricate system we have. The modern Western-derived faculties of healing have long ignored the imperative maintenance of the energetic body.

House of the Mystical Maven was birthed in 2021, responding to the need to tend to the energetic body in integrity, sensitivity, and sacredness. With a variety of modalities in herbalism, healing arts, and holistic education, we assist individuals in transforming stress and anxiousness into purpose, passion, and self worth.

While prefering in person engagement and community, our online presence is vital in supporting the growth and sustainability of our networks at this time. We appreciate your support as you interact with this living art form. This site encompasses a briefing on the capacity for which we can meet your individual needs. Through in person healing sessions, co creative learning environments, and the small batch botanical apothecary, we are here to support your unique healing journey.

Education has been an important building block to pursuing the path in healing arts, finding lineage through teachers of philosophy, arts, and spirituality, as well as the wisdom leaders she has met along her path. A formal background in education includes studies in fashion design, journalism, Bachelors Degree in Studio Art, certifications in Early and School Age Education, near Masters in Art Education, certifications in Yoga, the Science and Art of Herbalism, Reiki Master Teacher, and Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, among an exhaustive list of continuing education trainings, workshops, and community learning engagements.
The House currently lives in a tiny town on the outskirts of the Allegheny National Forest. A humble abode built upon towering spruce trees, with wild deer slumbering on its roots, and squirrels in the attic. Wild life abounds here and the quality of Shelley imprints are notable in her work as a gentle steward of the earth and its kin.
As a seer from a very young age, Shelley developed her visionary capacities through disciplinary education in the arts, painting, drawing, sculpting, and dancing, as well as through exploring the use of plants as medicine and altered states. Prophetic dreams, angel visitations, spirit communication, and extraordinary phenomena were themes that carried on through her childhood and into adulthood. Finding a discplined spiritual practice of yoga in early adolescence put her on the path of exploration into the subtle energetic body
and connection of multi dimensional self.
While working at a library in undergrad school,
she began checking in a collection of books from a retired psychology professor. The discovery of the work of Carl Jung and the interconnected symbology of sacred geometry was the key to accessing the akashic records of embodied wisdom of healing arts and celestial consciousness.
Thus began a deep study into a broad range of ancient wisdom topics.
Although her inner compass pulled her towards the west coast to be in community in permaculture and herbal farming, her supports led her to complete her studies and carry on in a path of education leading to a decade long teaching career.
As life experiences brought both blessings and challenges, the tools to gather for energetic healing strengthened as well as her trusting connection with her spirit team. After a strong prophetic calling in 2019, Shelley decided to shift her gaze to her lineages and spiritual gifts.
She began offering spiritual practice to her community.
She has found her purpose in meeting others exactly where they are,
to attain goals of healing and wellness for both the individual
and collective in this world through the unique gifts she has reclaimed.
